CS Plumbing designed and implemented a gravity-fed French drain system specifically aimed at capturing and redirecting water before it could impact the foundation of the home.

The project comprised several critical elements:

A French drain system meticulously crafted to gather surface and subsurface water from neighbouring properties, directing it through gravity into a concrete pit.
A 100mm PVC pipe extending from the pit to the curb, equipped with strategically drilled holes to facilitate efficient discharge.
Three newly installed, larger-diameter Colorbond metal downpipes that replaced the original smaller pipes, linked to new 100mm PVC piping leading to the curb.
A retaining wall system constructed along the boundary, using concrete sleepers and galvanised steel posts, with auger holes drilled by an excavator to create a robust barrier to hold back the adjacent yard.
Efficient removal of soil on-site, aided by a dumper for streamlined site management.
